Flying Squirrels, Gray Squirrels, Chipmunks, Raccoons, Opossums, Skunks,
Moles, Voles, Shrews, Birds, Birds, Birds, reptiles and insects These are the co inhabitants of our little corner of the earth. They are a part of the tapestry that we accept, although sometimes not willingly, as partners on this wondrous journey through life. Some bring us great delight and bolster our spirits, like the sound of the birds singing, the antics of the Flying Squirrels, the beauty of floating butterflies . Others may give us great consternation and test our patience like the rascals gray squirrels and raccoons can be, not to mention the moles that are the persistent felons of lawn desecrations. We try to avoid the stinging and destructing insects while taking great delight in the glorious sounds of insects on a summer evening, and the once a year chorus of Spring Peepers (tree frog) if you are lucky enough to be near or come upon them at just the right time, is music to the soul. Love them or hate them, they too have been given certain unalienable rights by the Creator and as with most things we learn to accept the good and the not so good.
